Oman Border

Today I was part of the group that had to do another border run to Oman and back as our 30 day visitor's visa was about to expire. We'are still waiting for our residency. This has been held up as our company, registered in Dubai, has split off our division to register the School Improvement Partnership part in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. This in the long run makes it easier for residency and registering cars etc. We are awaiting the company shingle to be hung above the registered office, so we are told. Gotta do it properly.
In Oman the Kiwis don't pay an exit / entrance fee because we are 1 of 17 countries who have done something to help support Oman. Not sure what, but thank you thank you thank you. The Aussies Brits etc have to pay 60 AED, so we laud it over them. My photo is of 2 happy Kiwis proudly showing off their NZ passports. For my Wairarapa friends you may recognise Tracey who joined our company from Sth Featherston School.
