Another first. I got a happy birthday text from HBSC, my UAE bank. "The HSBC Team wishes you a happy birthday and many happy returns for the day!"
I'm enjoying banking with them, no prizes for guessing why, I'm such a shallow character. They text to tell you, your salary has been deposited into your bank account. So last week we are all sitting in staff PD and suddenly all the cell phones start to beep. Salary lodged, now back to the PD. Another feature, they text you as soon as you withdraw cash from an ATM. Great security.
