NZ beef in UAE
Thought I'd share this with you. I bought NZ mince on special in the local supermarket on Sunday. Price wise that is about $11 / kg. Did it taste any different...... I don't think so.
Oooh yum. Mince pie- pea,pie and pud! Seems strange that it costs about the same as here yet it has travelled across the world. Are NZers paying too much or UAE too little?
Did you notice the length of shelf life? Packed one day, expires the next. Over here there is about a three day shelf life. Interesting. Definitely something fishy with the price. Think of the carbon footprint!
