Lately small herds of camels have come wandering passed the school. This was a group of 10 out grazing early this morning. Others that I have seen wandering around are usually hobbled. The front legs are tied so the camels can take walking strides but can't race off at speed. In this group was a particularly thin camel with its ribs showing, which is very surprising. Normally the camels are very well cared for, as they cost anything from 5000 AED to 5 Million for a very good racing or breeding camel.... so I have been told. This group wandered along aimlessly nibbling on very little sprouts of grass in the sand.
