British International School is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Today we had a whole school photo. 2,000 students, 171 teaching staff, support staff, drivers, maintenance, guards, canteen staff etc etc etc. looking back from where I was standing it really did look impressive. We’re British, we don’t do any thing by halves. Yesterday the Tu Xuong Campus where I work 3 days a week formed the British Flag in our red blue and white T shirts. Today TX was bused over to the main campus at An Phu formed the flag, with the rest of the school around and the photo was taken.
On June 5th we are taking the day at school to celebrate the jubilee. And so the preparations are beginning. Street parties, royal events, iconic symbols etc Watch this space. If London thought it was going to be the centre of action think again. British International School Ho Chi Minh City, is the happening place.
