They don't do things by halves here in UAE. Our girls school is getting a remodel job, and according to the plans, things didn't look too bad. We have had to pack classrooms and offices into huge moving boxes that will be stored... not sure exactly where either. Grade 1-5 have finished school and Grade 6 - 12 have just started exams at school, every morning. So Sunday morning the huge vehicles rumbled in. Today my primary ICT lab looked very similar to this! I got forbidden to go there eventaully to take photos. The demolition starts on the secondary side of the school on 27 June. All teaching and advisory staff will then be based at Al Foah School about 15 mins closer to Al Ain until the end of the school year. Doing what you ask?? Socialising!! And according to the plan the school will be back open and welcoming students on 11 September. Inshallah!

Crikey. That must leave the summer holidays out to about 14 weeks for the Grade1-5! They will forget what the school was.
