Emirati drivers park any where, and as close as they can get to where ever it is that they are going. No one walks.... walk not bl**dy likely! At school the drivers come to pick up the students and park 3 deep around the gate. At a girls school I pass on the way home, the cars are parked 2 and 3 deep, taking up 2 lanes of a busy road, and literally about 50 m away the car park is vacant.
There is a small restaurant and take away at the top of my street. The drivers park randomly close to the restaurant, even on the wrong side of the road, or taking up the whole of one lane and toot. A wee man rushes out, takes the order and returns later with the food. Driving through the melee at night is like an obstacle course. Tonight this car was randomly parked, the worst case scenerio I've seen, right on the corner, blocking any thing and everything. He is on the diagonal to the front of the restaurant, sticking out across one whole lane. the white marking you can see is the give way sign! Please note all the space around the car. Shows how badly its parked. Fines, not bl**dy likely!

Perhaps you could give the flash car a nudge out of the way then flee in your trusty Mazda?
