The building up date

Construction on the building below my window has continued over my 7 week summer break. However I am surprised that to date the building has not yet reached ground height. In my absence a concrete floor has been laid and 2 partial floors have been created still below ground. The men are continually making pillars filled with reinforcing steel before being filled with concrete. There are huge weight bearing girders around the side of the construction at almost ground level. These massive beasts really do take the weight of an awful amount of concrete which seems to be poured almost every second day currently. One noticeable feature now is the use of hard hats worn by the workmen in the bowels of the building construction. Supervisor have always wandered around at ground level, peering into the cavity wearing their white hard hats. Now the workers below who really are in danger of having bits from the partial falling on their heads have hats. Welding visors, work boots and living conditions still remain to be addressed.

Well, no trapped little digger left down below. I wonder how fast things will grow now that the basement is in?
