Our boss Sue, and our deputy head Ian are great ones for dressing up and really getting into the occasion. So on this occasion Sue donned a grey wig and a face mask, Ian the ears, and of course the royal corgis on a royal blue lead of course, and they headed around the classrooms. Sue really had the accent down pat. A number of the junior kids thought that it was me dressing up............ because of the hair colouring, but knew it wasn't my voise. (Off to the
Tower of London for them.) However at lunch time I was on duty and the royal entourage came through the foyer, so that silenced a few critics.
PS The Queen arrived at school without her pearls, so she did borrow mine.
