British International School

As you can read from the caption on the photo, we had an almost complete school photo taken to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee at the An Phu Campus. An Phu is the main campus with a primary and the only secondary school. The Year 11 and 13's in the secondary school were away on exam leave, and the maintenance, guard crew, canteen staff, cleaners etc from  the TX campus weren't present. I'm on the left about halfway back wearing a red top. Almost directly opposite me wearing a grey jacket is the owner of the school, Maurice.

British International School consortium is expanding. This  current academic year they opened a BVIS British Vietnamese International School. This campus  is both primary and secondary and teaches the curriculum in English and Vietnamese. There are 2 classes per age level and the classes rotate between an English speaking teacher and a Vietnamese native speaker. Next year this school is expanding and will offer Monday to Friday boarding for rural students wishing to attend.

A new primary and secondary campus  BVIS Hanoi opens in August. Maurice has been asked by the government to build  quite a little compound in Hanoi which includes housing, school, utilities, shopping and recreation. Like Britain, the Empire is growing.

Very impressive! Especially the Union Jack marked out in the middle. Easy to spot the blonde wearing a red top too.
