It's Saturday and time for an update
The view from my balcony this morning. In fact the view from my bedroom window was the orange suited man putting up the safety scaffolding. On Thursday the temperature made it up to the early 40s so the poor man must be baking out there even this early in the morning. Pleased to see he is covered from the sun. I have blogged so much about the lack of health and safety on the building sites. While this chap is not wearing a harness, he does have a safety belt on and is carefully clipping and up clipping as he moves along. Both the belt and the buckle look very sturdy. The hat while not regulation yellow and of the hard hat safety variety, does look relatively sturdy. Others are walking around the site wearing similar. And the reason I can write all of this, I can see the man out through my balcony door while sitting on my easy chair. It's all getting closer by the day.

Too close for comfort? Good to know that they are using safety belts and clips. Have to admire those workers.
Sad to see that view disappearing.
You could invite that nice man in for a cup of tea.
