I'm off to Jordan for a week, which is really exciting. Amman, Petra, the Dead Sea and camping in the desert. Photos and dialogue on my return.
This is one of the reasons I came to the UAE to teach and work. Apart from being immersed in and learning about a new culture as best as one can do from a Western perspective, I came to travel and visit other countries.

The Dead Sea eh. Bet you can't swim 25 metres in it. Herod the Great used to visit it as a Health spa way back then. Say gidday to him.
You certainly won't have that sinking feeling in the Dead Sea. Have loads of fun and great experiences.
