I was talking with a teacher at one of the local schools, who is embracing ICT with her junior class by trying out different applications and tools to support learning. My favourite question is what are the benefits of whatever you are doing for learning and the children in the class. These 6 year old sweethearts are using a wiki for writing, collaboratively directly onto the computer. Take a look

There is powerful learning here, and a strengthening of those home school partnerships as the children are able to share their writing with their wider community. Also there is a record of the learning and the growth in writing, not by posts but by quality. What a better way to sharpen up your skills if you know you have an audience.
