I was having a look at some blogs, and its surprising the amount of material that cycles around with no acknowledgement of where its come from or who's intellectual property it was. The ideas are being implied as that particular author's thought. Maybe there is some original thought and ideas in the posting, but lots of the posting has come from other reputable bloggers. For example I see lots of people using Derek Wenmoths postings without placing a thank you to Derek, or an acknowledgement. As educators we push values with our students and get rather rightous........ and then we plagiarise someone else's work. I know RSS feeds make networking information easy , but....... I don't always get it right but I do try to acknowledge the help and support I get from others. And this includes this pic from teacher tube.
