5 star luxury bliss Nha Trang

The first weekend in September is always a long weekend as the Vietnamese celebrate National Day on Monday. National Day originates from 2 September 1945 when Ho Chi Minh withdrew Vietnam from as a cling on Chinese State to be an independent country, albeit until the French tried to take control. That's another post. Under Chinese rule Vietnam was called Nam Viet meaning basically cling on state. Enough of the history lesson. We have a long weekend and I have flown with 4 friends to Nha Trang, a beach resort, up the coast. We are here to celebrate Barbara's birthday. Mia Resort is truly a 5 star luxury resort. We have a cliff top villa with our own pool. The views are spectacular out to sea. Sunsets and sunrises are glorious. Each evening the little fishing boats chug around the headlands to go fishing so our seascape view is filled with twinkly lights from the boats. A tough life but someone has to do it. Sadly today is Monday and this afternoon we return to reality leaving the tranquility of a slice of heaven.
