On my bike

I'm back on my bike so to speak. The next challenge for me in 2007 was to ride the Motukarara to Little River Rail Trail. Christchurch West Rotary had advertised the ride as a fun ride for charity, and I just couldn't resist the challenge!
This was a 24.3 k ride along the banks of Lake Ellesmere, across the estuary and then along the edge of Lake Foresyth to Little River township. The hardest bits, riding up beside lake Foresyth into a reasonably strong NW wind, the stench of the lake, not that I could smell it, and riding with out my gel seat. My anatomy won't thank me for my stupidity!
I'm biking with Donna, my next door neighbour from the Sounds, who is wearing the tour leader's jersey for this leg.
