Esah standing beside her wee stall. During Ramadan she sold the special food the Muslims buy and share with their friends. This includes Pistacho nut slices, meringue and toffee slices, candies and other yummy delectable goodies. There are 4 sisters in the family and one brother. The oldest sister has married a Syrian and she wears a shaylia, the head covering. The husband does not like anyone looking at his wife, he will often take her home from the mall if there are a lot of men around. When I asked how she feels, the reply was she was really happy, she felt secure and happy knowing husband was concerned about her. Esah is 25 and has worked and lived in Abu Dhabi. She liked the life style down there, its much faster and more exciting than Al Ain. Esah's English, both written and spoken is very good. She has just picked it up living and working in Abu Dhabi.
